Celebrate Global Running Day on Wednesday, June 7 with a 5k fun run at 1st Place Sports Baymeadows! The entry fee is a $10 donation to Marathon High, a local nonprofit program that challenges at-risk teens to train for a 13.1 mile half-marathon in order to develop positive futures. About The Race: Begun in December 1977 as an English-style true cross-country race, our 5k competition for individuals and teams has become renowned for its unique, challenging course on the campus of Jacksonville University.
Entry Fees through 12/29: JTC Running members online $15. Non-members online, $30. Non-member fee includes one year membership in JTC running, a $20 value.
Day of Race entry fee $40 (for members and non-members).
What Do You Get? A commemorative JTC Running 47th year sweatshirt (enter by December 15 in order to guarantee your shirt on race day), recognition of age group winners, awards for top men and women overall, top Women’s Masters, top Men’s Masters, top Grand Masters (60 & over) Women and Men. And, an amazing post-race party at JU’s Bartlett Kinne Student Center, a short walk from the finish line!
