A.M. Track Workout at The Bolles School

Track Workouts at The Bolles School – San Jose Blvd. Campus
 There are several requirements that anyone wanting to join either the morning or afternoon track workout will need to meet:
1) You must be a active JTCRunning member. To join or renew JTC Running click HERE.
2) You must register for each workout group separately at JTCRunning/Events.
3) You must present your Drivers’ License to the Bolles security guard for security purposes prior to your first workout. The security guard may run your Drivers’ License through the Raptor program (a sexual predator data base). Please allow 10 minutes for processing.
Warm up and cool down runs will take place on San Jose Blvd and the Bolles campus. Please stay with your group; departing from the established route is not permitted.
Please note that the workouts are geared towards adults. Registrants age fifteen and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during the session.
We look forward to seeing you on the Track!

JTC Running and USATF Florida Association Present Track & Field – A Great Choice
The most ancient and elemental sport of all, track & field is based on the three basic forms of human movement – running, jumping and throwing. Within the sport, there is an event for everyone, regardless of race, gender, size, shape or ability. Just as important, the sport is inexpensive and accessible to everyone – all you need is a pair of shoes. A race, a throwing competition or a jumping contest can happen anywhere!

RunJumpThrow (RJT) provides youngsters a fun chance to learn and practice the foundational skills of all sports – running, jumping, and throwing. These skills are the core of track & field and can be applied on the track or on nearly any other sport’s playing field.

JTC Running Mile Festival
Jun 30 @ 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm

Entry is free of charge to all pre-registered on line participants. Free on line registration will close at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, June 30. Sign up HERE!

Those not pre-registered will be charged $5.00 for walk up registration.

Walk up registration will open one hour prior to first event.

 

Order of Races:

1. Children’s Mile (age 9 and under)

2. Middle School Girls (10-14)

3. Middle School Boys (10-14)

4. Men Seniors Mile (60-over)

5. Women Seniors Mile (60-over)

6. Men Masters Mile (40-59)

7. Women Masters Mile (40-59)

8. Men’s mile (18-39)

9. Women’s Mile (18-39)

10. High School Girls Mile

11. High School Boys Mile

12. Championship Women, any age, sub-6:15

13. Championship Men, any age, sub-5:00

14. Fun Run Mile, open to all

We will be on a “rolling Schedule”. The Clerk may split heats or combine heats, based on  participation. Check in early and be ready to race.

Awards: Custom ribbons for first, second, and third place in each race.
