Each year JTC Running awards a number of grants for week-long attendance at Brevard Distance Runners Camp in North Carolina.  Click HERE for camp details including schedule, what to bring, where to report.

The grants cover all at camp expenses except the refundable key deposit. Transportation is not included. If you plan on attending camp even if you are not awarded a JTC Running grant, you may want to register with Brevard and pay their $100 deposit. If you are given a JTC Running grant, your $100 deposit will be refunded by Brevard.

Only the first week of camp, from Sunday, July 3 through Saturday, July 9, will be available to campers without a coach. Campers with a coach (as a team member, for example) can attend any of the three weeks (July 3 through 9, July 10 through 16, and July 17 through 23) but campers without a coach can only go the first week.

Applicants for JTC Running grants should be high school students who are highly interested in running in general and cross country in particular. Selection criteria include grade point average, athletic achievements, and financial need.

JTC Running’s application process opens April 6, 2022. Click HERE to apply.

The last day for accepting applications is May 15, 2022. Successful applicants will notified by May 30, 2022.

The JTC Running program is focused on Brevard Distance Runners Camp. We have sent students for a number of years and believe that it is a quality operation.
