A.M. Track Workout at The Bolles School

Track Workouts at The Bolles School – San Jose Blvd. Campus
 There are several requirements that anyone wanting to join either the morning or afternoon track workout will need to meet:
1) You must be a active JTCRunning member. To join or renew JTC Running click HERE.
2) You must register for each workout group separately at JTCRunning/Events.
3) You must present your Drivers’ License to the Bolles security guard for security purposes prior to your first workout. The security guard may run your Drivers’ License through the Raptor program (a sexual predator data base). Please allow 10 minutes for processing.
Warm up and cool down runs will take place on San Jose Blvd and the Bolles campus. Please stay with your group; departing from the established route is not permitted.
Please note that the workouts are geared towards adults. Registrants age fifteen and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times during the session.
We look forward to seeing you on the Track!

JTC Running Night at Sulzbacher Center

Did you know that every night in Jacksonville about 3,000 men, women and children are homeless? That is a staggering number. If you are reading this newsletter, you are probably not one of them. – our membership is generally pretty well off! I’ve seen the fancy running cloths and shoes you wear!

So, why not take some time to give back to our community? At JTC, we are committed to making Jacksonville a better place to live. And serving those who need a hand is a great way to do it. The Sulzbacher Center is an incredible resource for the homeless and not only offers meals 7 days a week, 365 days a year, they provide health care, children programs, job placement, and life skill programs. They are truly helping folks restore their lives.

 We are seeking about 12 volunteers to cook and serve dinner at the Sulzbacher Center, Saturday, Nov. 14th.

 Absolutely no experience needed! Just bring your positive energy and willing hands, as well as any gently used running shoes you would like to donate to Sulzbacher residents.

 Cooking shift is from 3:00pm-5:30pm; serving shift is from 5:30pm-7:00pm (you can select one or both shifts).

Running with the Devils 5K

Stanton Athletics is excited to present this inaugural 5K event to benefit the construction of a new track at the Stanton campus.  Despite having state champion athletes on the Track & Field team for several years, Stanton does not have a facility suitable for practices and hosting meets.

 The race will be held Saturday, November 14th at 3 pm on the beach (Jacksonville Beach).

We invite you to join us in supporting these efforts as a participant or official race sponsor.  Stanton College Prep has students from the entire Northeast Florida area which assures your exposure will be broad and worth the investment!
