Join several of Jacksonville’s former Olympic runners as they discuss how they trained to become a champion. learn the training techniques that made these Jacksonville based runners some of the best in the world.The clinic will feature a panel discussion followed by questions and answers. Refreshments will be be served.
Todd Williams – 5-time Gate River Run Champion, American record holder in the 15K (42:22) and two-time 10,000 meters Olympic runner.
Keith Brantly – 2:12 Marathoner and 1996 Olympian in the Marathon
Kim Pawelek-Brantly – 4 time Olympic Trials qualifier, 2:37 marathon PR. National Marathon Champion
Dean Matthews – 2:11 Marathoner – Winner of the Honolulu and Pittsburgh Marathons.
Cathy Palacios Vasto – 1996 and 2000 Olympic Trials – Big 8 Champion in the 3,000 meters
Patt Sher – Two-time Olympic Trials Qualifier – 2:46 Marathon PR
Michelle Kruger – One of Jacksonville best runners for last several years. Winner of numerous road races.
John Rogerson – Winner of the Racing South Grand Prix in 1982. Member of the University of Florida Cross Country and Track team. Sub 29 minute 10K runner.
Jerry Lawson – Former American Record hold in the marathon. 2:09:33 marathon PR.
Lindsay Sundell – Former University of Florida track team member. 2008 Olympic Trials qualifier in the Steeplechase. 15:49 5k PR
